Cons

The drive disconnects out of the blue every so often, putting my data on the disk at risk. It says 5 bytes a second, sometimes it says 5kbytes a second. Seems unstable. I can't read the datum.

These issues are nonexistent with the external drive unplugged.

This beast backs up part of my professional photo and video library without breaking a sweat.

Price

It wasn't that long ago that just 4 tb was a bit expensive.

However, ssds on the magnitude of 8+ tb are simply not affordable yet.

Shipping

They need to delivery to room number- we don't have mail room.

Keep it put away in it's box, and take out only when you need to retrieve or store away data.
