They're extremely portable and work great. Looks like a red envelop for lunar new year!
It lasts long than microusb (by design) and doesn't need to be flipped back and forth repeatedly until it finally fits. I also have a nas system with wd hard drives that are over 5 years old that i rely on for redundancy.
Quickly downloads and uploads photos and videos. It is very quiet, plugged it in, and my mac laptop did some prep to get it ready for backups.
Cons
I recommend everyone steer clear of this brand. These are rubbish. Do not buy it.
Tried uninstalling the driver, reboot and reinstall. Any data you have already stored on the disk is subject to retrieval and stored on some cloud database.

When i might do photoshop work on files i can copy them to the mac work on them and then transfer them back
