Pros & Cons
Pros
Using this as a second hard drive to run a daw software program, i find it much quieter and faster than main drive. Not the fastest drive in the world, but can't complain for the price. Works perfectly, was cloned by sata ii 250 gb.
Cons
These units are defective. They are not new on even had a windows 10 installation on it. First drive attempted format, failed. Not even going to test third drive. It is not good for a raid setup.
Highlights
Quality
This is a very good high quality hard drive for the money.
Packaging/appearance
Received apparently brand new drive (0 hours from smart) in oem packaging from worldwide product importer
Competitiveness
Not the fastest drive in the world, but can't complain for the price.
Ordered a 250gb drive but received a 500gb drive which is probably great for some people.
Edited : the company contacted me to confirm that the warranty is offered by them directly - 2yr warranty.
The sweet spot is 250gb, once you get to 1tb and higher the failure rate goes up.
