Wd photo app automatically uploads any photos and videos you shot. One downside is that the mycloud software does not display thumbnails.

It's easier than plugging in a usb thumb drive, copying files to it, unplugging it. Download the software and data streams seamlessly between computer and network drive. Set mine up with different folders.

Western digital's website shows that it is outside of the three year warranty, but it is tied to the manufacture date (april of 2011). Worked for 2 years and then drive failed. Product is unreliable.

What a disappointment. First, the ui is terrible and if you aren't computer savvy you will have a tough time. Anyways, just don't buy this piece of junk.

Using chrome lets you see your dashboard but the interface is unbelievably slow. Problem is, it's slow. Just horrifically slow. Worse even, the speeds are horrendous.
