The drive is working hard in this application - simutanouly recording (2 two) 3d high def movies & playing a 3d high def movie.

All issues that have cropped up have been the fault of overly narrow focused, assumption laden hardware raid controllers.

Price

At $240 per drive it is a big investment.

For great value, i would recommend hgst.
