Pros

No one knows they are not real (read porcelain or china) plates until they pick them up to load them up with food. These plates still come out looking great after being in the dishwasher too, so they are totally reusable if you so desire.

These are a bit pricier, but better quality. Bought these for my son's rehearsal dinner. They are very sturdy and look so pretty with the gold and purple.

Cons

This one in particular is garbage. The ridge or rise is less than 3/18 of an inch high. I'm very disappointed because the plates i’ve got are not silver.

These plates are quite durable and do not wilt under even the heaviest load of hot casseroles my nephews have piled them with.
