Each mat is an identical square with jigsaw-puzzle type edges which interlock. Fit is consistent. Wanted to get 1/2” but got the 3/8” on account of the square footage.

Cons

It's pretty annoying because we definitely overpaid for these. They are not durable. They separate easily if there is any weight on them.

The floors are very slippery and don't offer enough support. The company markets these as non toxic but also has a prop 65 warning. Since we have a 4x5 space, we have 3 mats that are useless.

We cover our patio as well cement gets so hot great product.

They are nice and soft it was actually what i was looking for, easy to assemble, durability and materials quality isn’t strong enough.
