With my first i got a normal carpet but after a few weeks with a kid learnig to eat and playing it was disgusting and impossible to clean

Where it fits together doesnt stay fastened great with equipment on it

As some others have noted there is some slight variation in the color of each tile but for our purposes and the pattern we chose it didn’t matter

The edges you take off can be put together to make the base moulding i used double sided tape to get them to stay in place
