Def has to remove a few links for it to fit my wrist and it took a few times to learn how to click the end in and off to remove

I have to say the rose gold coating does wear off over time but for the amount i pay for this i do expect wearing off to happen its not supposed to touch water or sweat

I had to remove three of the links and they are latch links i had to lift up the link on each end to remove the links i wanted and then clasped it back together

I typically use warm water with a mild soap on a wash cloth not too much soap when it is really dirty
