The tape is made of very dense foam that does not compress easily and has a good amount of adhesive on one side that provides decent adhesion to flat surfaces though not as strong as the ones i would want for a door

The foam comes rolled up and does requires some work to get it flat

Adding it to a door or frequently opened window may reduce the lifespan of the foam due to the friction from the opposing surface each time the door or window is opened
