Pros

Hardly any other bags are this water resistant. The zippers are unusual (that's because of the waterproofing) and that makes them a tiny bit hard to operate but it's not a show stopper.

Front vertical surprisingly roomy. Top has a small very soft line pocket for any items you don't want to get scratched. Front of bag also has a zipper that leads to another fairly decent size pocket.

It's not some wimpy thing that collapses as soon as you put it down. Makes this one handy when you shove it under the seat in front of you.

Pelican is an industry standard for for heavy duty indestructible cases. Access to the dedicated padded laptop sleeve is very good.

Cons

The pelican logo is not embroiled onto the backpack. This makes the zipper very difficult to zip and unzip. My daily pack is a targus drifter ii, and though it wasn't full i could not move all items to this one.

I tried a smaller and larger size and went with the larger; better organization.
