Pros
This is a well made, sturdy box that has many outlets for different size wires. Installing lights around perimeter of my deck. Bought this for outdoor christmas light display.
Heavy-gauge plastic protects electrical cords from water. The lid goes over a * on the lower section, so that also helps.
Easy mounting. Did not have to drill holes to mount. Only slightly tricky part is a narrow piece that you have to lift off to get access to the holed for the electrical cords.
Cons
The plug strip needs to be really compact. The holes for the cables are tiny and the clip that goes on top snapped at the end when i tried to close it on one cat 6a cable - hardly a massive cable. I guess it only works for wires smaller than normal ex... Read More
This, in turn, keeps the outer shell of the box from being able to be shut properly. Very very unhappy right now. Keeps my connections dry. Now it's useless since it doesn't close right and is broken.

Stray cat family of six were warm, dry, and comfortable in their heated shelters thanks to this product.
This company reached out to me about my struggles with the product immediately.
However, i was and am happy with the box i ordered and have it installed.
Price
It is well made and easy to hang and i felt like the price was good.
The price is a little steep but it fits the situation.
It does what i need but for the price i guess i expect to last longer.
Packaging/appearance
I was able to place my five wires in the box.
Original: september 2022: there are no real instructions for how to thread the cables into the box.
So it works but i’d rather not have to do this work around if somebody knows the proper way to thread the wires into the box.
Competitiveness
We use it for our intex above ground pool filter.
Currently have a couple ge outdoor z-wave outlets with a small surge protector inside and everything has stayed dry.
