Filters are effective in what they are meant to do. Caught lots of dust and dirt. Forced air held in place. We heat with wood which is extremely dusty.
Cons
The product is so thick that it completely blocks any airflow - literally, no air comes through. There is a warning not to install these on every vent since the air flow reduction can damage the furnace.
