They got back to me for a photo and shipping address and promptly shipped a replacement lid to my house free of charge.
Packaging/appearance
I got the copper colour scheme and it looks absolutely amazing!
I assume this is a manufacturing oversight, since i doubt a third party like amazon has anything to do with packaging these grills.
First, however, i wanted to review packaging and construction, as i just completed putting together my grill two nights ago.
Upon unpacking i noticed a small by noticeable scratch in the enamel on the lower bowl, and a loose leg within the box.
Competitiveness
Fantastic grill, rivals the green egg for much less.
Since i've bought this bbq 8 months ago, i've only used the gas grill twice.
As far as webber products there number one in the business.
Will have to compare with a separate thermometer to confirm.
