Pros
Puchased this based on previous experience with webber products. Single air vent at the bottom of the regular one while there are two side vents on the premium model. Still works fine.
Cons
The vents on the bottom of the unit are too small! Re quality, the grate is too small for the grill and somewhat moves around in the grill base.
Shame on weber. Fortunately, the cost is not exorbitant. It is improper to charge my credit card prior to shipping an item.
It was wobbling back and forth. It needs to be fixed. But this one is terribly designed. I plan to discard this model.
Only 2 of the 3 leg holes had been drilled so not all 3 legs could be attached. Already bent and deformed in a week. I plan on drilling more holes but rust will limit it's life.

Quality
This is so sturdy, we ran over it with the rear tire of our truck and it survived!
Really great construction and i like the lid holder that i use as a wind shield when lightning coals.
The absence of bottom holes would make me suspicious that this grill would not work well trying to sear a steak with the lid on.
Was wanting to get one of these and finally broke down.
Price
Great little inexpensive grill for my apartment balcony!
It is well worth the extra $10 to get this smoky joe kettle grill.
I used three-quarter of a large weber charcoal starter and a very inexpensive source of charcoal.
Packaging/appearance
Really a great package to pack everything you need for a bbq at the beach.

The wing nuts inside the grill that hold the legs on are pretty cheap and dont seem up to the long haul

You cannot get a sear on this quickly at all

I had to let it heat up then place the food and wait atleast 15 minutes before turning and there was a good sear

You have to make sure the ashes are cleaned out b4 use to get better airflow
