Spirit ii does away with the under-grill cabinet, replacing it with a fairly simple cart and moving the lp tank to the outside. Good packaging. Only annoyance is the little wheel caps pop off each time i move it because the axle rod is a hair too long... Read More

Assembly is time consuming but doable. A frosty beverage while assembly is in progress makes it better.

Cons

Hours lost between assembly, trouble shooting, disassembly, and repacking.

Also i think they sent a poorly sized removable chrome internal grill. It’s about a quarter inch too long to allow proper mounting. Bad gas line in original package.

Weber refuses to do anything about it.

Fit and finish on the assembled grill is outstanding and very solid.

The igniter works great and it is very sturdy which allows us to move it in and out of our metal building with ease.

Gas hissing out of malfunction in regulator.

The ignition system fires up the grill first time every time.

And i got it at a great price!

It cost a bit more, but worth every penny because it will last you many years.

Expensive, but does an amazing job grilling food!

At $399, this purchase was a no-brainer.

The box weighs 90 + lbs on delivery.

Packaging/appearance

It took me over an hour to get it out of the box on the porch and put the packing into recycling.

However it was amazing how all the pieces were all there & carefully packed together.

Competitiveness

This is far better than the cheap hardware store ones.

I’ve owned several different kinds of grills, and nothing compares to a weber.

I will never buy any other grill other than weber brand.

I would be shocked if we ever bought a grill from another brand.
