Pros

The weber is very easy to assemble. This model also has heavy ss grates, which last longer and clean up easier than the cast, in my experience.

Each burner has a dedicated igniter which is nice - you press the button, and all fire at once. This bbq get the highest rating on consumer reports and the quality is certainly there. This grill has a 10 year warranty.

I wish they offered infrared sear station. Works great.

Cons

Am not a newbie with weber grills. Main burners all work but the side burner will not light from the ignitor. I take care of the grill according to weber’s instructions, but the rust keeps getting worse.

Amazon wants us to disassemble the massive, multi-part unit before shipping back. Still do not have my replacement parts. We're now in the mode of trying to find bolts that will fit the holes and make do.

Weber continues to deliver a robust and quality product.

Bent and damaged components take away from the quality of amazon material handling.

The quality is top notch, the cook box is one piece and thick.

Shipping

Shipping was fast and it was already assembled out of the amazon truck.

Amazon shipping was spot on with a window for delivery and they hit the three hour window right in the middle.

Packaging/appearance

And i assembled it myself, the packaging was shipper-proof if you catch my meaning.

Competitiveness

So much more convenient and less expensive than propane.

Might've been easier with a 2nd person but not a whole lot.

Two person job to put togetheri got a natural gas model again.
