It took me about two hours at a leisurely pace, including moving the pieces and cleaning up the packaging.
5 yr buildup of char and burnt bits off of the flavorizer bars and the inner parts by the burners.
Competitiveness
As a long-time weber enthusiast, i decided it was time to upgrade my old spirit grill.
The igrill temp probes are great for beer can chicken( igrill sold separately).
The lid of the genesis feels so much more substantial than the old char-broil infrared i replaced.
Just go to your local bigbox store that sells weber grills and just poke around at it.

They aren’t the cheap thin metal ones i’ve seen in other grills that rust out and burn apart after a few years

Ive always struggled to justify the premium price of weber but after wearing out my 3rd grill in 15 years i wanted something with a 10 year warranty

Once i learned that the gas regulator needs to be kept from shutting down the grill by lighting each burner with time delay it worked like the natural gas unit i already had but could not use in the new home
