Pros

The genesis ii is a high quality grill, feature rich with the cooking power you'd expect from a weber. The 7mm ss rod grates are crazy heavy, far superior to the genesis i ss shaped grates. This bbq is up and running now and we really like it.

The weber is very sturdy and easy to assemble. Ace hardware and other local stores carry it and offer local assembly. A bit heavy, needs 2 people to assemble, but the instructions are good and the parts fit together perfectly. Great value for money, e... Read More

Electric ignition is flawless. Even the flavorizer bars have handy cutouts to make sure the burners are lit. Each burner has a dedicated igniter which is nice.

Works great. I wish they offered infrared sear station.

Cons

Too much of a pain to try to repackage a product like this. If you're not careful this could be a safety issue with propane.

This is truly a case where the big corporation doesn’t give a twit about their customers. Hopefully the grill performs like a $1200 grill. If you want to do a rotisserie chicken - paying even more of the spit - it does ok.

Weber continues to deliver a robust and quality product.

Bent and damaged components take away from the quality of amazon material handling.

The quality is top notch, the cook box is one piece and thick.

Shipping

Shipping was fast and it was already assembled out of the amazon truck.

Amazon shipping was spot on with a window for delivery and they hit the three hour window right in the middle.

Packaging/appearance

And i assembled it myself, the packaging was shipper-proof if you catch my meaning.

Competitiveness

It is far superior to my charbroil grill.

Might've been easier with a 2nd person but not a whole lot.
