Pros

Pairing is a bit quirky but only because the instructions are a bit murky. The problem was solved after resetting everything.

The device works great, but getting it going isn't that easy. Definitely acceptable. It's amazing when companies make products that are actually intuitive.

Cons

Worked great for about three weeks then would no longer sync. Used 3 times and quit. This thing is a piece of * that doesn't work.

The instruction manual is completely worthless. If you can ever actually learn to work it, by the time you grill again you need a 45 minute online tutorial to try again.

When you push the button for 3 seconds on the transmitter, it flashes the led once to indicate it's turning off. It loses the pairing to the base in between uses and good luck figuring out the pairing if you don't have the manual.
