The lid fits much sloppier than my older webber. That make for one really floppy side. It is a huge safety concern and hurts the esthetic of the grill.

If you buy the regular weber or its imitations today you are getting thin steel which doesnt retain heat as well

Not sure why this anniversary edition doesnt have a hook inside the lid to hang on the side of the grill like the original weber

Compared to my 1986 webs it’s the same same of different people ask why the handles aren’t wooden on the 70th anniversary edition
