Pros
Cast iron is practically the only type of cookware i will use. Handy for cooking bacon, searing carnitas, or delicate fish. Also great for pancakes outside on a nice spring morning.

It has a porcelain coating. This is nice & thick to provide very even heat across the full surface. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again, but probably won't need another one.
Cons
The unit itself has divots from an injection mold that grease gets stuck in. First time to use the griddle eggs, pancakes everything stuck to this griddle even when lightly buttered.

It does not require seasoning, but it does have aarough surface like a porcelain coated le cruset pan with the black cooking surface.

I recommend seasoning it on the oven not on the grill or it may cook your oil instead of seasoning the skillet

When youre cooking bacon the skillet is flat therefore you have to manually pull the grease toward the drain not a huge deal but could be fixed
