I know they did that to make it lower maintenance however you cant use metal toolsturners if you want to preserve the coating

It gets as hot as you want it if you put it over the sear station burner

Works greatfits in the oven when not in usei pull it out and put on the gas stove top and pancakes ect ect come out great
