This grill is made in china, the amazon listing said it was, i thought it was in error because weber was all about being “made in the usa”.

And lo behold the delivery was ontime 8am on the scheduled day and arrived with two experienced gentlemen who spent the better part of 1 12 hrs assembling the grill from scratch

Then upon firing it up it took 17 minutes from the time i turned on all 4 burners until the hood thermometer read 700 degrees
