So far the quality seems to be good and accuracy is good.
This is a useful add on for the igrill.
The quality seems ok but on par with what i had before so am pleased with purchase otherwise.
Bought this because i wanted a dedicated ambient prove and this one comes with the clip for the grill .
Packaging/appearance
Ensures you can get the ambient temperature in the grill which is one of the things the igrill lacks in it's initial packaging.
Competitiveness
Bought this for my i-grill thermometer as the old gauge stopped working.

When compared with two other meat probes at ambient temperature they all read within 1 deg of each

Its hard to know how accurate it might be at 400f or so as the temperature inside a bbq varies quite a bit depending on where the probe actually is located

Local stores dont sell the ambiant sensor

At first this did not work but after removing batteries they were brand new and replacing not sure if did a reboot of the device it seemed to work

After just 1 month of use this probe now reads half the actual temperature

The probe works as advertised but the main unit still looses blue tooth connection every so often and doesnt matter if within a foot or several feet
