No, they are not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
It's kind of expensive but webers are infinitely rebuild-able.

This step is extremely easy to miss and the spacer plug is very small and easy to miss as well

Our current house does not have that kind of deck instead we have a side porch with which the grill basically faces away from the house
