A great beginner belt for a beginner like myself. This is very sturdy with good support. If you're on the cusp then i suggest you go a size up as they are adjustable.
The velcro is wide and strong. The plastic locking pin would never be an issue. The straps feel very secure even when lifting relatively heavy loads.
Cons
It is extremely small. The sizing is way off. Completely inaccurate item description.

It is not as wide as a full on power lifting belt and it is not as stiff as a leather lifting belt it has a small amount of flex
