Pros

It's water resistant and you can write on it with a sharpie. Way easier to cut with scissors, doesn't tear as easily as other tapes. This is smoother than duct tape.

Retrying with more tape didn't help. This duct tape is a complete dud. I am extremely disappointed and they should redo their advertising.
