I dont know what the problem was maybe bad sectors and a lot of error correcting going on but after starting up and logging in hard disk utilization would be pegged at 100 for 5 10 minutes even after defragging so an ssd was the obvious way to go

Even though it is an 34rog34 computer republic of gamers i dont use it for gaming so i cant say how it would do there i just use it for productivity apps and things like audacity audio editing email web surfing viewing pics and videos etc
