Our oldest one is a slightly lower capacity version which has worked perfectly for the past six-ish years.
If you use a power supply that is not a suitable (wattage is too low), then it doesn't pick up the drive.
The transfer of files is a little slow.

But for the price, i am happy, and does what i wanted it to do.
However, at a saving of $100 saving, i was ok to organise my own plug adaptor.

This 18tb drive is no exception and the price was a real bargain for the size of the drive
