Pros

Even with the nice coloring on the globe of the light, it gives plenty of light. Classy retro look.

It's the blue wire you may not have and without that you can't use a smart fan dimmer switch that allows you to operated the light and the fan independently. This room gets slot of sun and this fan has made a world of difference.

This ceiling fan is awesome. Absolutely stunning ceiling fan. Not a bad fan at all. Really like the ceiling huggers.

The light is a warm amber glow. Also, the light looks good, and it can be dimmed. The included bulbs are 800 lumens each, pretty bright. I'm not sure what other bulb would fit easily.

Cons

The only way to get under that canopy and push the wire up higher is to unscrew every single one of the fan blades and completely disassemble the fan. Could not return due to time limit expiration. Took it to the goodwill for goodwill.

Great price for a stylish fan and light combination.

If you're still reading, my point is this all is doable by motivated diyers who don't want to give the electrician $600.

Most people would call an electircian and it will cost you 3 to 4 hours of their time.
