I was a little perturbed initially as the fan made a slight noise of metal sliding on metal with no obvious point of contact but i let it run overnight and that noise has mostly subsided the manual says to wait 24 hours for the fan motor to breakin but even now it is mostly silent

I am updating this review since westinghouse sent me a replacement glass free of charge from their us warehouse

Amazon was willing to return for me even though it was past the month but to pay the electrician to take it down and install another one was not worth the money or hassle

I have contacted westinghouse 3 different occasions and they left me a message telling me i can purchase a new glass for 8

I then contacted them again saying i have pictures of the broken glass in the box and then have not returned my phone calls

So my point is that their customer service is terrible in canada and if youre relying on the thought of warranty etc then just remember you will get an answering machine and possibly not even a call back
