Pros

It's quiet on medium and low speed but a little noisier on high speed as the blades spin. Has a slight wobble at mid-speed, but it's only noticeable if the room is very quiet.

Just installed this fan after removing a $29 fan from lowes. It has been stellar after many months of use. Multiple speeds are helpful as temps cool into fall.

My only complaint is related to the canopy cover. No complaints, just works silently, moving a lot of air.

Great for price. Hope it lasts. Great value. No frills, just works.

These are not real fancy but are working very well and appear to be a great value. Well constructed and attractive design. Very satisfied so far.

Cons

Problem is that it's for the bedroom and is pretty noisy. It almost seems like it needs oiling.

Excellent fan -- replaced an old 48# hunter that died after 20 years.

A good quality fan and happy with it.

* three of the blade mount holes on the motor were not tapped/threaded meaning two blades would not have been able to be attached normally.

Wired through a dimmer switch, the fan motor was noisy enough to wake the dead.

Price

Great fan for the price, easy to install

And boy oh boy, for the price and simplicity, it does the job well and quietly.

I got the $20 remote control that controls 3 speeds and light, but i didn't want a light.

As a budget fan you can see some of the mounting screws.

Packaging/appearance

My box came with extra screws and such in case you lose stuffcons1.

Competitiveness

This one is quite similar but has larger blade span and, at low speed, makes all the breeze we need.

Very good budget fan, comparable to fans that cost twice as much at the big box store.

All our other fans now seem like ‘air stirrers ‘ in comparison.

Some of the more expensive fans from the big box stores do better hiding them.
