Pros
I'm currently 8 month pregnant, during a heatwave - and this makes a big difference to making nights more bearable. Works perfectly especially during the recent hot spell. Lifesaver for the hot few weeks this year.
The remote control is a great feature. Remote is intentionally simple to use. Happy that could map it to my google assistant.
Overall it does the job excellently. Perfect for circulating the heat in my vaulted ceiling conservatory.
The instructions are clear and unambiguous. Once you have fitted one you get used to the instructions as they do require a bit of interpreting. Good instructions. Great fan from the same company as our current fan.
Cons
All the fastenings and all the screws attaching the blades had loosened despite using the fibre washers. The fan wood is soft and over-tightening results in damage to the blade. It is less than 3 months old.

As soon as i opened the box the quality was evident.
The build quality is a redeeming feature - excellent.
It's a pain that this product isn't even supplied with an led fitting as standard - everything should be by now!
Had issue with the remote receiver, contacted amazon who found and sent out a new unit and it works great.
Price
I was dubious about taking a punt purely based on the price, i'm glad i did.

I attached it directly into the joist (not through plaster), others may want to attach through the plaster.

The receiver for the remote has evidently been modified from the original intention which had it unscrewed and then attached to the fan housing one piece inside one outside rescrewed together

This model has the receiver with double sided tape and you are intended to stick this to the ceiling however there is no hole for the receiver to pass though or to thread the wire through

Shes only a toddler so no worries of decapitation but ill be removing it in a decade
