Pros

The cord is long enough for all those uses for us. They of course appreciate the dual controls, and their cat won't leave the bed now. Her only draw back is that the electrical cords could be longer.

It's very lightweight, silky soft and warms beautifully. The queen size electric blanket is ample to cover me and the mattress.

This blanket heats much hotter than our previous ones. Got this for my back patio bedswing for the cooler days. Heats up quickly. I like that it has hourly timers on each side.

Cons

It barely heats up (lukewarm at best on the highest setting) and there's absolutely no distribution of that tiny bit of warmth to the plain, uncoiled areas. Burnt my pants and pillow. I need to get this thing out of my house before it stinks it up.

The blanket refuses to function after less than 6 months. One of the heating cords went out yesterday. Along with box be damaged, was not new item.
