Someone had replaced the original with a yellowish cord with a white switch

If your lamp is at least 2 feet tall you will find that the cord will not allow enough cord to be fished through the lamp to be attached to the fixturebulb holder

Not sure why a 7 or 8 foot cord wouldnt have the switch closer to the middle or 4 feet from each end

Several listings had a polarized plug photo but when the item arrived it was nonpolarized
