Pros

The fan circulates the air well in the room. Light is brighter than expected. The led version is about the cost of an led bulb above the non-led model.

They move air effectively, are so quiet you forget they’re on, and are both handsome and yet so clean-looking as to melt into the background. The fan is super quiet and it was easy to install.

Great bedroom fan. Looks fine in the bedroom. I am just glad that both of these fans are in the same room so it doesn't mess up the decor too badly. They all work great and look sophisticated.

Cons

Hard to install, hard to calibrate and delicate aluminum pieces. This product needs to be redesigned to integrate into the fan design. That's quite noticeable and annoying.

The fan is not quiet, the light is terrible and the lamp is not replaceable. For $100 go to lowe's and get the vue fan, it is smaller but moves a lot of air, fits in with most decor and is built much better.

The blades are very thin and flexible so i would think they may sag or warp over time. The stiff lock washers for the blades are too tight, so you better have very strong fingers to jam them onto each screw that attaches each blade to the blade bracke... Read More

This is a new house build and getting that co and a final inspection is of upmost importance.

The dimmable lighting is a great feature, and while the light is brighter than my previous fan, i wish it was a little brighter.

I wasted a hour trying to mount the blades using a regular magnetized phillips driver (screws are not steel).

Draws only 12 watts on low setting and 27 watts on medium.

Price

It's reasonably priced, super quiet and well constructed.

So, if you want a remote, you can purchase one for an additional $25-$30 at most places that sell fans.

So get the ladder out for that function even though you may have already purchased the remote at an additional cost.

That difference in price may have changed my fan choice.

The glass globe was broken in three pieces when it arrived, but we called westinghouse and they shipped out a replacement immediately.

Packaging/appearance

The fan was delivered and on the box, the model number is the same and everything looks great, just as i imagined.

It looks great in my bedroom, and overall i don’t regret my purchase at all, i would still recommend it.

Inside, the styrofoam packing had broken up a bit.

It would have been much smarter to pack this thing inside a sturdier cardboard box before shipping.
