For their small size they do put out quite a bit of heat and after just a few minutes of being on are not touchable

Considering this i can say that the 15t4 westinghouse light bulbs would last at least a year or more before i had to replace one

Strange as it may sound this discoloration doesnt seem to affect the light intensity passing through go figure
