Pros of machine programmable quiet coffee tastes great sturdy decanter pot nice design filter has fine enough mesh that purchasing paper cone filters is not required unless you want easier cleanupcons of machine clock face has no backlight i had to put this one in a different spot than my previous pots so i had better lighting to program it no beep or alert that brewing has stopped or that 2 hours is up and its turning itself off water reservoir has 2 ridiculously small openings to pour the water into and if your hand isnt completely steady you will spilli was hesitant after reading some other reviews about it not working so i purchased a 3 yr warranty from amazon
