First the exterior packaging for the generator was torn in several places

In opening the packaging the battery was dislodged and there was a piece of broken plastic

Additionally there were some scuff marks on the generator frame

The positive lead to the battery is in a bad ergonomic location the oil filler is too short the choke is a bit hard to find and the gas gauge is difficult to interpret

I filled the gas tank up and the gauge to my interpretation reads halffull but maybe that is the way it is supposed to read
