Purchased this to grind meat for raw food diet for a dog. It grinds chicken bones with no effort at all. Clean up is relatively easy, rinse out leftover meat with hot water, then wash with soap and rinse - about 5 minutes.

I looked at several other brands and i’m glad i went with weston.
3x faster than the tasin 108 and infinitely faster than the totally worthless turboforce 3000 stx.
We bought this as a replacement for another companies product that had issues and wasn't really capable of doing what it advertised.
We previously bought a different brand and returned it.

I noticed it was now bogging down even when not under load

Ive had motor bearings dry out and get stiff before and thats what this one did

I took off the front end turned the gear by hand and limbered up the driven shaft with penetrating oil

I lost a little bit and topped it off with 90wt gear oil

Tilting it forward while running a few seconds further got lube into the shaft bearing and got it spinning like when it was new

So if you get one of these remember youll need to tilt it forward while its running for a few seconds every 1520 years
