New, applying with extra heat for longer, and still only lasted a few uses. Hate to have to return and try something else, but doesn't seem to work. Not anything like the tape that lasts a very long time that comes native to wetsuits.

In hindsight i should have rounded off the corners on the tape

Sharp corners on the tape is always where this stuff starts coming off

I probably could have used bookbinding tape or gaffers tape to do the job and it would have been fine
