These shoes are more than a year old now and have not torn the exterior.
Unfortunately, many times people leave plastic bottles out & the lawn mowers chew em up.

Was skeptical of these for the price but pleasantly surprised.
It is a great shoe for the price.
I honestly don't see why you need to pay $100 for a minimalist shoe when these do the trick, unless you are very, very into that path.
