This is a very cool little demo piece that comes partly disassembled, it was easy to assemble and works via a process that i myself know nothing about, but it does work, i simply placed it on the top of a cup of hot water and gently started the wheel off by hand and that is it, whilst the temperature difference is greater on the bottom of the sterling engine the wheel will continue to turn by i assume converting the heat into the mechanical power to rotate the wheel, it is very smart and even my 5-year-old seemed very impressed by it, when not in use it makes a nice desk ornament too, build quality is nice also so i'm giving it my recommendation to all.  Read Less
