The way it works is you insert some batteries rechargeables are probably best load up the container with your grass fibres and then attach the loose lead to the area that you want to grass having precoated the surface with pva or similar glue that is

The grass will then go through the sieve and if all is well it will stand up in the glue

It worked most of the time and did the job but if you are going to do more landscaping perhaps get something better that will give you different size sieves for grass types
