The sound is good but when it is heard high it begins to saturate the bass disappears and the brass sounds very high it sounds excellent at medium volume but if you turn it up a lot the sound loses quality and distorts that is why i do not give it 5 stars the truth is i use the sony equalizer and even though it took away the high sounds to make it sound lower i do not get an optimal sound the metals continue to sound very high no matter how much i lower them in the the equalizer failed to balance the bass and the brass
