This book should be read by flashlight under the covers so you can turn the light off after reading each page and enjoy the glow effect of the illustrations

The hardback book is the same size as other seuss titles like fox in socks or the cat in the hat so it is smaller than the sneetches book

The only thing to note is that since the book is closed you have to make an effort to open it up in the light for any of the pages to glow

I thought there would be more glow in the dark parts than there is but overall a cute book and you can never gonwrong with dr seuss

When sitting next to a lamp with all other lights off there is enough of a “charge” in the glowing images when the lamp is turned off after reading the page
