Love this thing and as someone who is slightly hypervigilant i cannot pick up on any patterns or weird background noises that i have heard with the two other white noise machines i have used

Also my daughter works nights so we take turns with it each day so it runs almost 24 hours a day

I have only used the white noise setting which is great

It really eliminates most outside noise from our busy neighborhood with dogs right next door and streets close by
