Pros

Silver optical switches with a heavier spring are great for gaming. The springs are light for my taste, even on the silver switches. I at least recommend heavier springs paired with silver switches as it makes it less likely to perform accidental pres...  Read More

They come with other bases for tactile mechanical switches. Feel really smooth and responsive. As i have these switches set up right now, it feels like a precision instrument.

I was skeptical after trying to research about brown switches but i'm super pleased about the feel and sound coming from these switches.

Edit: four months later after my initial review, i'm still using these optical silver switches lubed, filmed, and with the 67.

While modding them is not for everyone, i at least recommend heavier springs paired with the silver switches as it makes it les...  Read More

Lastly, the price is great no brainer a 5 star in my opinion.

Much better experience in typing when compared to my old outemu optical blues.

There was nothing really wrong with these as much as i just learned i do not like clicky switches.

These are of course, stock unlubed switches, but i've yet to find a lower price for gateron opticals on the market.

Only thing is coming from brown switches these silvers are extremely light and have a very short actuation travel which is what i need for gaming although for typing it can produce more typos

At 70 switches per package it sits at an awkward number where if you have anything bigger than a 65 keyboard youll have to order two packs but nobody needs 140 switches since even a 100 keyboard only has about 104 keys

Out of the box they are okay and about what youd expect

Slightly scratchy and a little clacky

I wanted to avoid linear switches initially
