Highlights
Quality
Great function and easy to move - able to fit in different size windows.
No issues at all, pumps out nice cold air, sound is normal for a portable ac unit, and the remote is really convenient.
The manual says it will beep 6 times when it needs drained.
Put plastic in it but it was leaking water everywhere.
Price
Go with a 2 hose if you can afford it.
Shipping
Great customer service and super fast shipping.
Just received a couple of days ago, installation was simple just as shown in the product video.
Finally got it exchanged for a new one through amazon and this one works great.
Packaging/appearance
Came in one big box that was padded like crazy.
The box just came right off from the bottom.
Competitiveness
I just want to make a note that i read a lot of reviews online and whynter seems to be more reliable than other brands.
If you have a similar humid climate you may be better off getting a cheaper dehumidifier based cooling system rather than a full ac unit.
